Job summary

Opoura A/S in multiple European locations seeks a Control & Validation Engineer to validate power plant controllers for wind, solar, storage, and hybrid systems. You will fuse hands-on automation with testing, simulation, and rigorous documentation.

You will join the Control & Communication department and collaborate across Control, Software, SCADA, Grid Modeling, commissioning, and Product teams to ensure reliable PPC performance in diverse configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation and control systems in industrial environments.
• Familiarity with SCADA, signaling, interfaces or protocols and troubleshooting.
• Programming or scripting skills relevant to automation (e.g., Python, C#).
• Experience in testing, simulation and validation of control systems (SIL/HIL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Support PPC configuration, integration, troubleshooting and validation.
• Develop and improve automated testing workflows including simulation-based tests.
• Work with controller interfaces, signals, and SCADA integration; analyze discrepancies.
• Build scripts, tools, and documentation to enhance repeatability and traceability.
