Job summary

RDT is seeking an experienced OT SCADA Engineer to strengthen wind-farm SCADA systems and OT data flows. The role blends hands-on operational support, lifecycle engineering and continuous improvement of wind assets, edge devices and data pipelines.

You will design and maintain OT SCADA interfaces, work with OEMs and internal teams on integration and security, and contribute to audits and runbooks. English proficiency is essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on OT/SCADA engineering or operations (5+ years preferred).
Experience with OPC UA and REST APIs.
Experience transporting, transforming and validating real-time and historical data between OT assets and authorised consumers.
Understanding of signal mapping, timestamps, data quality controls, buffering and historical data recovery.
Ability to diagnose end-to-end OT data-flow issues across applications, interfaces, servers, networks, certificates and identities.
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity: segmentation, secure remote access, hardening, IAM, IEC 62443-aligned practices.
Experience with incident, problem, change and configuration management in operational OT environments.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation, electrical, computer or systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, integrate, commission, operate, maintain and improve OT SCADA systems and interfaces across wind assets.
Configure, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and document industrial edge devices, connectors and data pipelines.
Integrate real-time and historical operational data using industrial protocols, APIs and databases.
Monitor SCADA services and data pipelines, identify root causes of data/service failures, support recovery and backfilling of historical data.
Provide engineering-level support for incidents and service requests, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Produce technical requirements, solution designs, interface specifications and runbooks.
Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, projects, Operations, cybersecurity, IT and OT teams for reviews and validation.
Implement OT cybersecurity requirements (hardening, access control, segmentation) and document for audits.
