Location: Copenhagen (On-site) | Reporting to: CMO | Level: Mid-level (3-5 years of experience) | Start: As soon as possible

About Scandinavian Biolabs

Scandinavian Biolabs is a science-driven hair care brand founded in Denmark, with a mission: to make bio-harmonic, science-backed hair longevity products part of people's daily lives. We exist to redefine how hair loss is treated through clinically backed, high-efficacy solutions, and our ambition is to become the most trusted global leader in natural, science-backed hair health.

We are expanding rapidly across Europe and the U.S., and we are building the organisational foundations to match that growth. Our culture is built on ownership, transparency, and evidence-based thinking. We move with speed and intention, and we expect the same from the people who join us.

About the role

The Website Manager owns the day-to-day performance of our online store as a conversion engine. This is a mid-level, hands-on role for someone with 3–5 years of experience, who will be accountable for one clear outcome: continuously improving website performance by understanding the user journey end to end, pinpointing where customers drop off, and closing those gaps.

You will translate behavioural data into prioritised hypotheses, design solutions, and ship them in close partnership with developers and our UX/UI designer. You will also keep us ahead of the market by regularly benchmarking competitors and leading D2C subscription brands on design, features, and communication.

This is a role for someone who is genuinely curious about customer behaviour, rigorous in their approach to experimentation, and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes. Based in Copenhagen, you will work directly with the CMO, contributing to profitable and high-converting growth across our key markets.

Key responsibilities
Website performance & conversion (primary KPI)
  • Own website performance as the role's core KPI: conversion rate, funnel completion, and revenue per session across key markets
  • Map and continuously analyse the full user journey to identify where visitors drop off and where friction or gaps exist (e.g. low conversion from Add-to-Basket to Begin-Checkout)
  • Translate findings into a prioritised roadmap of clear, testable hypotheses and solutions
  • Drive measurable, sustained improvement in conversion and checkout completion month over month
  • Design and run structured A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, PDPs, cart, and checkout
  • Define requirements, write briefs, and implement winning solutions by actively collaborating with developers and the UX/UI designer
  • Manage the on-site testing and release backlog; ensure changes are validated against data before and after launch
  • Maintain a disciplined test-and-learn cycle: hypotheses clearly formed, results clearly documented, learnings actively shared
  • Run regular benchmarks of direct competitors and leading D2C subscription brands on design, features, and communication
  • Surface actionable opportunities from benchmarking and feed them into the website roadmap
  • Stay current on CRO, UX, and e-commerce best practices and apply them to our store
Analytics & insight
  • Use analytics and behavioural tools (e.g. GA4, heatmaps, session recordings) to quantify drop-offs and measure impact
  • Build and maintain clear reporting on funnel health, test results, and the conversion impact of shipped changes
  • Share insights across the organisation to strengthen in-house understanding of the customer journey
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner closely with developers and the UX/UI designer to scope, prioritise, and ship improvements
  • Collaborate with brand, performance marketing, CRM, and retention teams to ensure on-site experience aligns with traffic, messaging, and subscription goals
  • Communicate proactively: flag risks early, share progress proactively, and bring your reasoning when you advocate for a decision
What we are looking for
  • 3–5 years of experience in website management, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), or
  • e-commerce/UX, ideally in a DTC or subscription consumer brand
  • Proven track record of improving website conversion and reducing funnel drop-off through structured experimentation
  • Hands-on experience on Shopify (or a comparable e-commerce platform) collaborating with developers and designers to ship on-site changes - required
  • Proven experience running structured experiments with A/B testing tools (e.g. Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Convert, or Google Optimize)
  • Hands-on proficiency with our core stack: GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Triple Whale, and Northbeam; familiarity with behavioural tools such as heatmaps and session recordings
  • Ability to read a user journey, diagnose where and why customers drop off, and translate that into clear solutions
  • Comfortable benchmarking competitors and synthesising design, feature, and communication trends into recommendations
  • Highly analytical, ownership-driven individual, who forms views based on data, communicate them with clarity, take full accountability for outcomes and thrive in fast-changing environment.
What success looks like
  • Website conversion rate and checkout completion improve measurably and sustainably within the first 12 months
  • Key drop-off points in the funnel (e.g. Add-to-Basket to Begin-Checkout) are identified, addressed, and improved
  • A continuous, data-driven test-and-learn cycle is established and consistently feeding the website roadmap
  • Regular competitor and D2C benchmarking directly informs on-site improvements
  • Strong, efficient collaboration with developers and the UX/UI designer turns insights into shipped changes quickly
