Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Søborg, Denmark, seeks a visionary Vice President, Safety Operations, to lead a global pharmacovigilance function responsible for high-volume safety case processing, compliance and scalable operations. You will shape operating models, drive automation and data‑driven decisions, and partner with Global Patient Safety, Development, Quality, IT, Legal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the GVP, this role requires building leadership teams across Denmark, India (Bangalore)

Qualifications

Extensive leadership in global pharmacovigilance or Safety Operations.
Experience with high-volume safety case processing.
Proven track record delivering sustained performance in a large pharma environment.

Responsibilities

Set and execute strategy for Safety Operations with focus on quality and compliance.
Drive process modernisation, operating models, and ways of working improvements.
Advance automation, digital technologies, data and AI to improve quality and scalability.
Ensure robust global safety case management, inspection readiness and compliance.
Use data and KPIs to guide workload, capacity, quality, risk and resources.
Lead workforce, succession and budget planning across geographies.
Develop leadership team and strengthen organisational capability and accountability.
Ensure effective safety information exchange with authorities, affiliates and partners.
Build cross-functional partnerships and contribute to strategic development of Global Patient Safety.
