Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. seeks an engineer to optimize existing vision inspection systems on the production line and to support daily manufacturing operations. You will be part of the engineering department and work closely with the other four members of the vision team.

The role reports to the Vision & Data Team Leader. Ideal candidates have IT or engineering background, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of vision system components.

Qualifications

• IT background or engineering training is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in vision systems or related field.
• Experience with configuration/parametrization of vision QA systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and improve existing machine vision system on the production line.
• Perform data analysis and document results.
• Create and update SOPs (Standard Operating Instructions) and handle incidents.
