Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership in Dover. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, and conduct vehicle health checks.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience, a valid MOT Tester Licence and a full UK driving licence. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm with Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rota, and enjoy generous leave and industry training.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Ability to complete workshop paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections.
• Carry out road tests before and after repairs where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Complete workshop paperwork and job cards accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.
• Valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
