Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Bagsværd, Denmark, is seeking a Laboratory Technician with upstream/recovery process experience to support recovery activities in our yeast fermentation platform, working with chromatography, filtration and centrifugation.

You will conduct experiments, analyse data, maintain equipment, and help optimise recovery processes; English is the primary working language. The role involves collaboration within a cross-disciplinary team and a focus on reliable process development.

Qualifications

• Hold a qualification as a laboratory technician, process technologist or in a related discipline.
• Have practical experience with upstream or downstream processes.
• Hands-on laboratory experience for recovery processes, ideally including fermentation.
• Communicate in English, the primary working language of the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform recovery activities using laboratory processes and equipment including chromatography (ÄKTA), filtration and centrifugation.
• Conduct experiments and analyse the resulting data.
• Prepare laboratory equipment and materials for reliable use.
• Support development and optimisation of recovery processes within the yeast fermentation platform.
• Help troubleshoot production process challenges through laboratory-scale work.
