Job summary

AGC Biologics seeks a Senior Downstream Laborant for a 9-month maternity cover to support late-stage process development in Denmark. You will perform clarification, centrifugation, chromatography with ÄKTA systems, and ultrafiltration, while maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates should have 3+ years in protein purification, experience in development or pilot-scale labs, and working knowledge of cGMP and English communication.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of practical experience with protein purification.
• Experience in a development or pilot-scale laboratory.
• Practical experience with downstream techniques, notably clarification, centrifugation, chromatography and ultrafiltration.
• Experience with ÄKTA chromatography systems.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in a cGMP environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform clarification and centrifugation as part of downstream processing.
• Carry out chromatography operations using ÄKTA systems.
• Execute ultrafiltration as part of protein purification.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Record experiments and results accurately per procedures and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support process development.
