Helion B2B in Aarhus seeks a tracking-focused engineer to join our team and own end-to-end measurement setups for B2B clients. You’ll design event schemas, implement cookies and consent flows, and ensure data quality across multi-market configurations.
Day-to-day work includes server-side GTM, GA4 event design, HubSpot data integration, and reporting to translate numbers into actionable client insights. A proactive mindset and curiosity about AI-enabled tracking will help shape future practices.
Do you get a small, slightly nerdy kick out of working out why a conversion stopped firing three weeks ago and nobody noticed?
At Helion B2B we don't just "run ads" for our clients. We build data-driven growth engines for some of the most ambitious B2B companies in Europe. But an engine is only as good as its sensors. That's where you come in.
You won't just keep the engine running. You'll help build it.
You join our tracking team in Aarhus, working day to day with our Tracking Lead. Real ownership early, someone who has done all of it sitting right next to you, and a direct hand in how the practice develops. We have standards, and we like them being challenged. If you think we're doing something the hard way, we'd rather hear it in week two than in year two.
You work across all of it: new implementations, server-side setups, multi-market containers, consent, QA, troubleshooting, and the measurement plans that hold it together. Real clients, and real responsibility for whether their measurement holds up.
Some of that is building something new. A lot of it is taking a setup that already exists and making it better than you found it, which is where data quality actually comes from. Your scope over the clients you look after grows from there.
The job doesn't stop when the data arrives. Part of the work is reporting and analysis: helping a client see what their numbers are telling them, and noticing when a number is telling them something wrong. Mostly technical work, then, but not only
Somewhere around three to five years of hands-on tracking experience, from an agency or in-house, is the usual shape. It's a guide, not a gate.
Server-side GTM and Conversions API. Consent Mode in depth. HubSpot data flows. BigQuery. Multi-market container architecture. Reporting and analysis on top of GA4 and BigQuery. B2B lead cycles, and why they make tracking a harder problem than e-commerce.
Experience with any of these is an advantage. None of them are requirements. You'll have a lead who would rather teach you properly than do it twice.
> Earlier in your career than the above, but the rest of this sounds like you? Apply anyway and tell us where you're at. We'd rather shape the level around the right person than miss them.
