Cobham Satcom is seeking a driven Test & Validation Lead to elevate our testing capabilities as we expand into new markets. You will combine hands-on software and system-level testing with shaping our test strategy, tooling, and environments.

You will coordinate testing activities across teams, drive automation and broader quality initiatives, and ensure new software releases are thoroughly validated with product architects, hardware engineers, and developers.

Qualificações

• A degree in software development or computer engineering or a related field.
• Experience setting up and maintaining test environments.
• Experience working with HIL setups, embedded software, and Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for embedded or connected systems.
• ISTQB certifications and experience from regulated industries are strong advantages.

Responsabilidades

• Own and continuously improve our test and validation strategy, tools, and test environment.
• Support and guide testing activities across teams, helping establish the foundation for high-quality and efficient testing across our products.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and product stakeholders to ensure quality is built into our solutions from the start.
• Drive test automation and other initiatives that improve test coverage, efficiency, and product quality.
• Ensure thorough testing and system-level validation of new software releases, while supporting the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
• Help shape how testing is performed at Cobham Satcom as we expand into new markets and technologies.
