Job summary

Schneider Electric in Ballerup, Denmark, is seeking a Tender Engineer to develop technical solutions and pricing for customer projects.

You will analyze RFQ requirements, craft tender proposals, and ensure all offer components—from technical details to costs and taxes—are coherent and accurate. The role offers flexible work arrangements depending on role and strong career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or cooling engineering is preferred.
• Experience in tendering or project management is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Knowing secure power system engineering principles helps in tendering.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.
• Excellent communication in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical solutions and pricing for customer projects.

Job description

We are looking for a Tender Engineer to join our team in Ballerup, Denmark.

What you will do

• Prepare technical solutions and costing/pricing for customer projects.
• Analyze technical project requirements in requests for quotations to develop tender proposals that align with customer needs and project objectives.
• Ensure mastery of all aspects of the offer: technical proposal, costing, finance, cash flow, etc.
• Ensure consistency and interfaces, T&C, project set‑up and hours, taxes, lessons learnt, etc.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for tendering processes and tools, leveraging your insights and expertise to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What we are looking for

• Suitable educational degree (Electrical Engineer or cooling engineering degree preferred).
• Previous experience in tendering, project management, or related roles within the secure power industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
• General understanding of secure power system engineering principles and tendering of secure power system solutions is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑growing environment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt to evolving project requirements and customer expectations.
• Effective communication skills in Danish (mandatory) and English.
