Job summary

SGS Nordic Connectivity & Products Division seeks a Technical Specialist to help build advisory services for Scandinavia, based in Taastrup. The role blends sales activities with technical expertise in consumer product safety testing.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2–3 years’ experience in product compliance, with strong Danish and English communication, and the ability to translate complex requirements for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (e.g. biotechnology, materials technology or food science).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in product compliance or related field.
• Good understanding of chemical legislation and product safety requirements.
• Ability to review legal documents and translate into client-friendly information.

Responsibilities

• Lead product safety projects from initial client meetings to quotation and test reporting.
• Coordinate testing across SGS global laboratories and advisory services for Scandinavia.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and arrange meetings with potential clients.
• Monitor changes in legislation and standards affecting consumer/product safety.
