Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Aalborg is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer responsible for the overall technical execution of customer and development projects, ensuring solutions meet requirements, quality standards, safety, and schedules. You will coordinate across mechanical, electrical, process, automation and manufacturing functions.

You will own the technical scope, drive decisions, review engineering deliverables, manage risks, and support cost optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering.
Experience with industrial equipment, process engineering, manufacturing, or capital projects.
Ability to assess and manage technical risks, trade-offs and priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical execution of customer and development projects.
Own the overall technical scope and drive decisions across disciplines.
Coordinate engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, process, automation and manufacturing.
Review and approve engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
Identify and manage technical risks and drive issue resolution.
Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.
Facilitate design reviews and technical decision‑making forums.
Provide technical expertise with Sales, Sourcing, Service and Manufacturing.
Drive continuous improvement and standardization; capture lessons learned.
