Job summary

Alfa Laval in Aalborg is looking for a Technical Lead Engineer to drive the technical execution of customer and development projects. You will ensure solutions meet customer requirements, quality, safety, cost targets and timelines, while coordinating across mechanical, electrical, process, automation, and manufacturing disciplines.

You will lead design reviews, manage risks, support cost optimization, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial equipment, process engineering, manufacturing, or capital projects.
• Ability to assess and manage technical risks, trade-offs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of customer and development projects across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Own the overall technical scope and drive technical decisions balancing requirements, quality, cost and schedule.
• Act as the primary technical contact for project teams and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across mechanical, electrical, process, automation and manufacturing functions.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables and documentation; ensure compliance with standards and specs.
• Identify, assess and manage risks and drive issue resolution; support cost optimization.
