Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to drive mechanical engineering packages for Oils & Fats projects. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements to delivery, ensuring compliance with standards and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical engineering and design, strong knowledge of piping stress calculations, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering and design experience on projects.
Knowledge of relevant mechanical engineering codes and standards (EU/US).
Knowledge of piping stress calculations.
Experience in international and cross-cultural environments.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Execute mechanical engineering packages for medium- to high-complexity projects in Oils & Fats.
Design mechanical components, systems and plant solutions based on customer requirements and standards.
Prepare technical specifications, calculations and project documentation.
Select and design mechanical products and solutions per requirements and standards.
Participate in design reviews, project meetings and verifications.
Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to define requirements and follow up during manufacturing.
