Job summary

Factbird seeks a Technical Lead to shape multi-year technology strategy across Rust, React, Node.js and AWS. You’ll own architecture, drive AI-tooling strategy, and steward standards while balancing cost and risk for a growing product.

You’ll partner with the Director of Engineering, mentor engineers, and define observability, security posture, data architecture, and integration with customers’ systems as Factbird scales globally, from Copenhagen to the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience and architecture leadership.
• Track record of owning multi-year technology strategy and platform architecture decisions.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers or Tech Leads toward architect-level thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year technology strategy and roadmap across the stack.
• Define integration architecture across customer systems and data ownership models.
• Set and enforce engineering standards, tooling, and platform governance.
• Mentor engineers and articulate technical vision to stakeholders.
