Job summary

NORMAL A/S in Denmark is seeking an Evening Team Leader for Inbound to guide a team of 10 colleagues (1 Coordinator, 9 Receivers) and drive development, process improvements and smooth day-to-evening transitions at our Hedensted warehouse.

You will lead by example, run regular 1:1s, plan daily operations and vacations, handle recruitment, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders across the organization while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team, preferably within inbound, warehousing, or logistics.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop others.
• Strong communication in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the inbound team of 10 (1 Coordinator, 9 Receivers).
• Hold regular 1:1 meetings to guide and develop team members.
• Plan daily operations and vacations, manage schedules and recruitment.
• Learn inbound processes and continually seek improvements.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders about deliveries and optimisations.
• Monitor inbound performance, safety and compliance with standards.
• Report to the Inbound Manager.

NORMAL is constantly growing, and to support our growth journey we are looking for a new team leader for our inbound department on the evening shift, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple tasks at once. About The Role

As our Evening Team Leader for Inbound, you'll be responsible for leading a team of 10 colleagues - 1 Coordinator and 9 Receivers. Your focus will be developing your team, setting a clear direction, improving processes, ensuring a smooth transition between day and evening operations, and maintaining good communication with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and supporting your team.
• Having regular 1:1 meetings with your team to guide, support, and help them grow.
• Planning daily operations and vacations, managing schedules, and handling recruitment.
• Learning the inbound processes and continuously looking for ways to improve them.
• Have ongoing dialogues with internal and external stakeholders about deliveries to our warehouse and how they can be optimized.
• Following up on inbound performance, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Report to the Inbound Manager.

We Also Expect That

• You have experience leading a team, preferably within inbound, warehousing, or logistics.
• Experience working with the Microsoft office package and ideally a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar tools is a plus.
• You communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written.

Location & Hours

• Based at our warehouse in Hedensted.
• Full-time (37 hours/week).
• Evening shift: 15:00-23:00 Monday to Thursday 14:30-22:00 on Friday.
