Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Hillerød seeks a Manager – Skilled Workers to lead a Danish-speaking team of 15 in Filling Engineering & Inspection. You’ll drive daily shop-floor leadership, set clear expectations and build cooperation across equipment areas to keep lines, utilities and supporting systems running reliably.

You’ll bring 3+ years in people management, ~2 years in production equipment, and a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least three years of people-management experience.
• Experience handling a range of people matters with care and clarity.
• Around two years of responsibility for production equipment or similar.
• Experience from a production environment with focus on safety, quality and compliance.
• Ability to set clear expectations and stay calm when priorities change.
• Good cooperation and communication skills; can-do in change.
• Fluency in Danish and English; Danish essential for leading Danish-speaking team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your 15 skilled workers through daily shop-floor leadership, timely feedback and development talks, so roles, priorities and expectations are clear to everyone.
• Build cooperation across the equipment groups and continue cross-training, so the team can work flexibly across all equipment areas.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out and the right resources are in place when equipment breaks down, keeping inspection lines, utilities and supporting equipment operational.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality and compliance – from EHS follow-up on near misses to up-to-date SOPs and documented training for every team member.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance boards, systematic problem solving.
• Lead recruitment and talent development to build the competences the team needs now and in the future.
