Ascendis Pharma seeks a System Manager for Commercial IT Europe and International Markets. Based in Hellerup, you will join Global IT to ensure Vault CRM integrity and enable commercial teams across regions.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant IT solutions that support business goals. You’ll lead product discovery, improve ways of working, and translate business needs into technical features with implementation partners, while driving governance and risk

We are seeking a passionate System Manager to join our team. As a member of Global IT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient management and integrity of Vault CRM.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the Commercial IT Europe and International Markets team consisting of 3 internal colleagues, and report directly to Jakob Monajemzadeh Thrane, People Leader, and Sune Mejlvang, Functional leader, who are both based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Embrace a team-first approach by contributing, sharing knowledge, and partnering with Product team members to solve challenges and deliver outcomes together.
• Maintain and continuously improve our applications in close collaboration with your team members
• Manage and maintain Vault CRM to ensure optimal performance, security, availability, and user access. This includes technical support; for instance, ensure user administration and incidents are managed efficiently.
• Ensure that your systems operate in compliance with internal governance requirements and relevant external regulations
• Drive test activities in Azure DevOps; identify and mitigate IT-related risks (including security and GDPR); and develop, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures to support compliance and risk management objectives.
• Understanding business processes and requirements and translating these into technical features and functionality in collaboration with our implementation partners.
• Coordinate with team members, cross-functional stakeholders, software vendors, and support partners to identify gaps and ensure efficient delivery of application changes.
• Support end-user training processes to ensure users get the most out of our applications.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold an academic degree - preferably a master's degree- and 5+ years of experience from a similar role within a regulated industry, e.g. pharma, biotechnology, food & nutrition, finance or a consultancy catering to a regulated industry.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience from a Product/Agile team
• Experience with CRM (e.g. Vault CRM or similar)
• 5+ years of experience working within an IT organization supporting a Commercial organization
• Experience with documentation and test management

You are a strong team player, analytical, and possess a can-do attitude.

As the Commercial IT Europe and International Markets Product team continues to evolve, we are looking for a profile who will proactively contribute to product discovery, help shape our ways of working, and play a key role in ensuring our Commercial solutions are effectively managed, continuously improved, and aligned with business needs.

Travel

5-10 days per year.
