Job summary

Deel is building its payroll operations for Sweden. You’ll be the founding product leader for Sweden, guiding end-to-end strategy across payroll, HR, time tracking, and compliance with a dedicated engineering team.

You’ll translate local requirements into scalable products, deciding what to build first, what to defer, and how to hit market timelines without overcommitting. This role anchors Deel’s Nordic expansion across Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

Qualifications

• Based in EMEA with Nordic market expertise.
• Fluent Swedish; English required for coordination.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong stakeholder management across teams and external partners.
• Pragmatic, systems thinker who understands payroll, HR, time tracking and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy for the Swedish market across payroll, HR, time, and services.
• Work with your dedicated engineering team to execute on the roadmap.
• Coordinate across Product, Time, HRIS, and Services teams to align on dependencies.
• Break complex requirements into iterative pieces; ship early and learn from customers.
• Own relationships with key accounts and validate your solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, implementation, and local compliance teams to ensure scalable solutions.
• Think like an entrepreneur; build the playbook for a new market.
• Use AI to speed up the build and coordinate with local compliance teams.
• Navigate Sweden's tripartite labor system and GDPR compliance to build Nordic-scale solutions.
• Establish Sweden as Deel's Nordic anchor for Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
