Job description

Job Description

Just imagine helping shape how sustainability stories reach partners, retailers, and consumers across LEGO® branded products. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Sustainability, Markets & Channels Specialist, you'll support communications across the Licensing & Extended Line (LEL) Sustainability team. You'll create B2B content, presentations and communication materials that connect sustainability, consumer experience, and design. Working across marketing, publishing, go-to-market, and licensing teams, you'll help bring a unified voice to internal and external stakeholders while supporting the LEGO Group's sustainability ambitions through clear and engaging communication to Licensees & Brand Partners.

Please note: This role is based in Billund, DK. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days per week from home and 3 days per week in the office. Relocation support is not offered for this role.

Required Qualifications
  • Applied brand marketing principles to support campaigns, Partner communications, or market activation.
  • Delivered B2B communication activities through content, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Built communication materials that supported stakeholder communication across multiple audiences.
  • Created written content through copywriting, editorial work, or communication projects.
  • Education or relevant working experience in Management, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Demonstrated fluency in English, equivalent to C1 level or above.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An understanding of social listening or media monitoring tools to evaluate communication performance.
  • Translated technical or product-focused information into clear marketing materials.
  • Supported events, campaigns, or external engagement activities.
  • Worked in more than one language and adapted communication for different markets.
What you'll build
  • Communication content for external stakeholders across sustainability, marketing, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Presentation decks, visual assets, and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Content that helps connect sustainability priorities with Licensing Partners and retailer needs.
  • Media monitoring and performance reporting that turns insights into recommendations.
  • Strong partnerships across sustainability, marketing, publishing, licensing, and go-to-market teams.

If you've worked in a marketing role where you translated complex topics into clear communications and supported stakeholder engagement, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to communicate clearly, connect audiences with meaningful messages, and contribute to shared goals.

Life on the team

You’ll join the Licensing & Extended Line Sustainability team, where we're helping drive a sustainable transition across the LEGO Group's portfolio of branded products. We work closely together through team meetings and a hybrid rhythm, with Tuesday as our team’s “anchor day” in-office and regular collaboration. You'll have opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues while building confidence in handling negotiations, managing ad hoc projects, and solving increasingly complex tasks with greater independence.

What success looks like

Success means becoming a trusted communication partner who helps deliver sustainability market execution and strengthens collaboration across sustainability, marketing, and go-to-market teams. Over time, you'll support the rollout of new licensing partner communications, create engaging content for external audiences, and contribute to stronger stakeholder engagement within The LEGO Group. You'll work closely with the sustainability communications manager, marketing colleagues, go-to-market teams, and licensing partners to help bring these ambitions to life.
