Job summary

Copenhagen Energy Trading is seeking a Student Software Engineer to join our Tech team, gaining hands-on experience in software development and data engineering while supporting trading systems across Europe and North America. Based at our Copenhagen office in Carlsberg Byen for a minimum of 15 hours per week, you’ll learn, take ownership, and could progress to a full-time role after graduation.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Git and SQL; experience with other languages such as C++ or .NET is a plus.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; able to take initiative on new solutions.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Location: based at our office in Copenhagen for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
