Job summary

MFT Energy A/S in Aarhus is seeking a Software Developer to join the Technology team, building trading systems, internal tooling, and full-stack applications that power how we operate across multiple countries.

You will collaborate with traders, analysts, and developers, own your code through reviews, and help translate business needs into reliable technical solutions in a fast-paced energy trading environment.

Qualifications

Background in software development with a few years' experience or strong degree foundation.
Hands-on experience with Python, C#/.NET or similar, and a willingness to work across the stack.
Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Strong communication and analytical skills, with the independence to structure your own workload and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain trading systems and tools in close collaboration with traders and business stakeholders.
Build and improve full-stack internal applications used across the organisation.
Translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.
Contribute to architecture and technology decisions as the team evolves.
Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews.
Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and simplify existing workflows.
Work across the stack from backend logic to front-end interfaces, depending on where the need is greatest.
Take pride in understanding the complexity of the domain you operate within.
