Job summary

NKT Photonics, a Hamamatsu Company, is seeking a Finance BI Analyst to transform data into actionable dashboards. You will build and maintain Power BI reports using Snowflake and Alteryx, turning financial data into clear insights for management and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes storytelling with data, collaboration with finance, IT and business units, and ongoing improvement of data models and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to define and implement KPIs in finance using Power BI.
• Experience with Power BI is required.
• Experience with Snowflake and Alteryx is preferred.
• Experience with D365 is an advantage.
• Strong storytelling and data presentation skills.
• Analytical skills and numerical proficiency with Power BI.
• Curious mindset to derive insights from data.

Responsibilities

• Transform numbers into insights by working intensively within Power BI, Snowflake and Alteryx.
• Translate finance and stakeholder requirements into dynamic dashboards showing financial numbers.
• Collaborate with managers, end users and IT to develop dashboards.
• Gather and prioritize requirements and ensure data availability in the data model.
• Develop dashboards using visualizations and calculations in Power BI, Snowflake, and Alteryx.
• Stay up-to-date with Power BI technology and storytelling techniques.
• Collaborate with IT on data projects and improve data transformation processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for support and improvement requests.
