Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking two ambitious student assistants to support due diligence work in Compliance within our Global Legal, Risk and Compliance department. You will gain hands-on experience evaluating risks and contributing to our due diligence program.

We offer approximately 20 hours per week, with work at our global headquarters in Havneholmen, Copenhagen. Start date around 1 October 2026; you must hold a valid permit to work in Denmark and be enrolled as a master's student.

Qualifications

• You are a current masters-level student in a relevant field and must be enrolled with at least 18 months left.
• Strong academic record and excellent English; other languages are a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Solid analytical skills and proficiency in online research.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence screenings of global business partners to assess risks.
• Draft due diligence reports with findings and recommendations.
• Improve and optimize the due diligence process.
• Assist colleagues in conducting screenings after training.
• Collect and analyze data to assess regulatory compliance.
• Manage ongoing monitoring and re-screening of partners.
• Perform admin tasks related to the due diligence process.
• Contribute to communication activities, newsletters, surveys and e-learning.
• Support trade compliance, sanctions, training, and policy reviews.
