Job summary

FLSmidth in Copenhagen, Denmark seeks two ambitious student assistants to support due diligence and compliance within the Global Legal, Risk and Compliance department. You'll gain hands-on experience conducting due diligence, evaluating risks, and contributing to our program while collaborating with colleagues worldwide.

Main tasks include screening partners for sanctions, ownership and anti-corruption concerns, drafting reports, improving processes, and assisting with training, communications

Qualifications

• You must be enrolled as a student and have at least 18 months left of your studies.
• Excellent English skills are required.
• Other languages are a big plus.
• You are not required to speak Danish to apply.
• Strong academic record and writing ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence screenings of global business partners to identify sanctions, ownership, anti-corruption and integrity concerns.
• Draft due diligence reports with findings and recommendations for internal review.
• Improve and optimize the due diligence process to support company strategy and mitigate risks.
• Assist colleagues in conducting screenings as part of onboarding.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to assess regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and re-screen business partners over time, and perform related admin tasks.
• Support communications activities, including newsletters and training within compliance.
