Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Student Business Development Consultant to support the internal business development and management consulting team. You will participate in the full project lifecycle—from data capture and analysis to creating decision‑making materials and executing initiatives—contributing to both short‑term tasks and longer‑term projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 1–2 years left to study.
• Strong interest in management consulting, project management and business development.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, able to manage time between work and studies (15–20 hours/week).
• Excellent written and spoken English, and proficiency in creating professional slides and spreadsheets.
• Team player with interpersonal skills and a can‑do attitude.

Role Overview

As a Student Business Development Consultant, you will support the internal business development & management consulting team, helping to drive key strategic projects essential to our agency’s growth and innovation. You will participate in the entire project lifecycle—from data capture and analysis to creating decision‑making materials and executing initiatives—contributing to both short‑term tasks and longer‑term projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of projects focused on business development, innovation, and organizational growth in collaboration with the Business Development team.
• Capture and analyze data to help build conclusions and recommendations for potential solutions.
• Assist in scoping and building project plans to ensure effective delivery.
• Help execute project plans across various business departments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Draft communication and presentation materials to update stakeholders and senior leadership on project status, progress, and conclusions.
• Provide ongoing support to management on day‑to‑day strategic and administrative tasks.
• Maintain the overall project portfolio for business development, tracking tasks and timelines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Communication, or a related field (with at least 1–2 years left of study).
• Strong interest in management consulting, project management, and business development.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and able to manage personal time effectively between work and studies (approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility during exams).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and proficiency in creating professional slides (PowerPoint) and spreadsheets (Excel).
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
