Job description

Körber Supply Chain is looking for a Student Assistant within R&D to work on advanced mechanical analysis as part of the Customer Service Sales department at Körber Supply Chain DK.

As a Student Assistant, you will support the R&D department in the development, analysis, and improvement of advanced mechanical systems in close collaboration with experienced mechanical design engineers.

Your tasks may include engineering calculations, structural assessments, design verification, root cause investigations, concept development, and technical documentation. You will work with a variety of mechanical components and systems, applying engineering principles to evaluate performance, reliability, durability, manufacturability, and operational safety.

Depending on project needs, you may be involved in activities such as strength and fatigue analyses, component sizing, design optimization, testing and validation, data analysis, CAD-related tasks, technical documentation, and development of technical solutions for both new products and existing installations. The work provides broad exposure to mechanical engineering disciplines and offers valuable hands-on experience in industrial product development and research.

We expect you to be a student within mechanical engineering or a similar technical field and to have a solid theoretical understanding of mechanical design, strength calculations, lifetime analyses, and FE-based design. You work in a structured, systematic, and analytical manner, have a strong attention to detail, and thrive with documentation and method development. At the same time, you are curious and motivated to work with complex industrial machinery.

Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is an advantage. As we are an international company, fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement.

You will be supported by experienced colleagues in mechanical design and engineering and will have the opportunity to work on projects with both significant technical depth and strong commercial potential.

  • We offer an exciting and educational student-relevant position in an international company, where you will become part of a professional, informal, and supportive team.
  • You will have good opportunities for professional development and flexible working hours, allowing you to combine work and studies.

We value diversity and therefore welcome all applicants - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion/belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity, and any other protected status.
