Job summary

DFDS A/S is seeking a student to join the Data Centre Platform team at our Nordhavn HQ in Copenhagen. You’ll support daily operations, help keep systems running, and shape your role with your experience. Tasks include handling server builds, alarms, and coordinating with vendors while writing procedures and automating tasks.

We value curiosity, problem-solving, and strong English. Flexible hours suit study commitments, and you’ll gain hands-on experience at a large international company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT/CS/Engineering degree with at least 1 year left before graduation.
• Interest in servers, Windows, Linux or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to the right team or resolve the issue.
• Review alarms and status reports.
• Handle server builds and decommissions.
• Coordinate and follow up on support cases with vendors.
• Assist with data centre tasks such as racking and cabling.
• Write or update procedures and workflows.
• Automate repetitive tasks.

You’ll keep our systems running smoothly by helping with our daily operations. No two days will be exactly the same, and we’ll shape your role together with you based on your experience and availability, but your tasks will include activities such as:

• Assigning tasks to the right team - or fixing the issue yourself
• Reviewing alarms and status reports
• Handling server builds and decommissions
• Coordinating and following up on support cases with vendors
• Helping with data centre activities such as racking and cabling
• Writing or updating procedures, workflows or other documentation
• Automating repetitive tasks

About you

• Stay calm and solution-oriented when something breaks
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Experience talking to customers
