Job summary

Clinical Development Center Denmark (CDC DK) is seeking a Student Assistant to help run clinical trials smoothly while you study. Based in Ørestad, Copenhagen, the role offers ~15 hours per week with a flexible, hybrid arrangement and home-working options depending on tasks.

You will assist with trial start-up, conduct and close-out, ensure quality documentation, and support with administrative duties across teams in multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's programme within life sciences, healthcare or related field.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to commit ~15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support CRAs with activities related to trial start-up, conduct and close-out.
• Quality-check, maintain and archive trial documentation and site materials.
• Coordinate, track and ship clinical trial equipment, patient materials and study supplies to sites.
• Assist with reporting, meeting preparation, documentation and follow-up across trial teams.
• Support administrative processes such as purchase orders and payments.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvements across CDC DK.

As our new Student Assistant, you will help clinical trials run smoothly at Clinical Development Center Denmark (CDC DK). Working alongside our Clinical Research Associates, you will support the planning and conduct of trials that bring new treatments closer to people living with serious chronic diseases. From day one, your reliable, detail-oriented work will keep trial documentation, materials and coordination on track - helping the wider CDC DK organisation deliver quality and progress across multiple countries.

What you'll bring

• A structured, organised and detail-oriented way of working.
• Confidence working with digital tools and systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
• Current enrolment in a Bachelor's programme within life sciences, healthcare or a related field.
• A genuine interest in clinical development, coordination and administrative support.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across functions, teams and countries.
• Useful, but not essential: ideally at least two years of studies remaining.

What you'll do

• Supporting CRAs with activities related to trial start-up, conduct and close-out.
• Preparing, quality-checking, maintaining and archiving trial documentation and site materials in line with quality and compliance requirements.
• Coordinating, tracking and shipping clinical trial equipment, patient materials and study supplies to clinical sites.
• Supporting reporting, meeting preparation, documentation and follow-up across trial teams.
• Assisting with administrative processes such as purchase orders and payments.
• Contributing to selected ad hoc projects and continuous improvements across CDC DK.

Who you'll work with

You will join the Monitoring Unit, part of Clinical Development Center Denmark (CDC DK), and work closely with Clinical Research Associates, Trial Managers, Clinical Trial Assistants and other cross-functional colleagues on a daily basis. CDC DK is part of a wider organisation working across multiple countries and functions, so you will also connect with colleagues beyond Denmark.

Based in Ørestad, Copenhagen, you will be part of a collaborative environment with a strong focus on quality, compliance and reliable trial execution. You will report to the Clinical Operations Manager, CDC DK.

What you can expect here

This is a chance to build real experience in clinical development while you study. The position is approximately 15 hours per week and offers a high degree of flexibility, so you can plan your working hours around your studies and other commitments. We recognise the importance of balancing work and academics, and we strive to provide additional flexibility during exam periods whenever possible. The role is primarily office-based, with the opportunity to work from home depending on the nature of the tasks and business needs.

Salary and Benefits:

This position is hourly paid. For this position, the hourly base rate is 209,27 based on an assessment of relevant factors such as experience, educational background, demonstrated competencies, and the specific skills required for the position. In addition to the hourly base rate, Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
