Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Strategy Director within the Strategy and Project Management Office in Research & Development to lead strategy design and execution across the function. You will translate ambitions into clear priorities, deliverables and impact with senior stakeholders and cross-value-chain colleagues.

You will mentor colleagues, drive enterprise thinking, and shape strategies across executive leadership, balancing science and business priorities for lasting health impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, PhD or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and drug R&D.
• Proven experience creating business strategies and managing cross-functional bodies of work.
• Strong knowledge of strategy management methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects aligning with R&D priorities and enterprise thinking.
• Provide SME in strategy design, implementation, and related activities.
• Ensure consistency and unified direction in strategizing and implementation.
