Job summary

Novo Nordisk's Strategy and Project Management Office seeks an experienced R&D Process Director to lead end-to-end orchestration of priority development processes across the global value chain. You will set direction, build alignment, and translate insights into measurable improvements.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Project Management, you will partner with senior stakeholders in R&D and across the value chain to accelerate speed, quality and predictability while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Master’s, PhD or equivalent in life sciences, business, strategy, data/digital preferred.
• 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with exposure to drug development.
• Strong toolbox for process excellence incl. LEAN/Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, performance management, and digital enablement of processes.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex process challenges and translate insights into scalable end-to-end solutions.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and lead across a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, operating model, deliverables and interfaces to governance bodies.
• Simplify, harmonise and digitalise key processes while ensuring compliance.
• Translate diagnostics and priorities into an orchestration road map.
• Drive senior-level alignment on optimisation choices across the value chain.
• Define and monitor process KPIs and escalation triggers with stakeholders.
