Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Søborg is seeking an experienced R&D Process Director to orchestrate priority development processes across a global value chain. You will lead end-to-end orchestration, set direction, build alignment, and translate insights into measurable improvements.

You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, drive process excellence, and mentor colleagues while influencing outcomes in a matrix environment and across the R&D portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master’s, PhD or equivalent experience in life sciences, business, strategy, data/digital or related discipline.
• 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with exposure to drug development.
• Strong toolbox for process excellence (LEAN/Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, performance management, digital enablement of processes).
• Ability to influence without formal authority and lead in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process orchestration for priority R&D development processes.
• Establish and mature the E2E process orchestration remit, scope and interfaces.
• Challenge current ways of working and support leaders in simplifying and harmonising processes.
• Translate diagnostics and R&D priorities into an orchestration roadmap.
• Drive senior-level alignment on process optimisation and implementation approaches.
