Job summary

VELUX Group is seeking a Strategic Buyer to drive sourcing and procurement initiatives from a global perspective. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms and lead category strategies across direct and indirect spend, while ensuring value creation and reliable supply.

Based in Hørsholm, Denmark, with flexibility to work in Warsaw, Hamburg or Budapest and periodic travel. The role emphasizes collaboration with Marketing, Engineering, Quality and Finance teams to deliver

Qualifications

Experience in supplier management, sourcing and negotiations across direct and indirect categories.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective procurement strategies and cost-reduction initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

Manage sourcing and procurement activities within assigned area and contribute to category strategies.
Drive cost-down initiatives and value-creation opportunities with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Lead supplier relationships, commercial agreements and performance management to ensure reliable supply.
Implement new suppliers, materials and services with timely delivery and launches.
Build and maintain a supplier portfolio aligned with global and regional standards.
