Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to drive procurement activities for new build and major rebuild projects across global sites, reporting into the GSP Purchasing Management team.

You will coordinate with SMEs, align with project management, ensure compliance with group standards and local legislation, and develop optimized purchasing set-ups to support on-site operations. Travel to HQ and on-site locations is required.

Qualifications

• BSc level in SCM, engineering, manufacturing or similar.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in project management; Prince2/IPMA a plus.
• Negotiation and tendering experience.
• Strategic work and communication with senior management.
• Ability to work independently and deliver on time.
• Proactive, positive mindset and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate procurement activities for New Build projects in alignment with project management.
• Collaborate with SMEs within GSP and coordinate deliverables and priorities.
• Ensure compliance and governance with Group/GSP standards and local law.
• Introduce best practices as the standard way of working across locations.
• Support building an optimal purchasing setup to back local operations.
• Capture local market knowledge and pursue TCO reductions via optimization levers.
• Develop risk mitigation plans where appropriate.
