Job summary

GEA Group in Skanderborg, Denmark, is seeking a senior leader to head Procurement & Supply Chain. You will lead a team across strategic, operational, project procurement and logistics, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high standards.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Europe, drive category strategies, and improve end-to-end procurement processes while reporting performance to management.

Qualifications

• Solid procurement experience with a prior management role.
• Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Experience with project procurement, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies.
• Fluent in English; experience with SAP Ariba, S/4HANA and MDG.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the procurement and supply chain team across the organization.
• Coordinate project requirements with procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and on-time delivery.
• Interface between local business units and divisional leadership to ensure early procurement involvement.
• Review and implement category strategies; drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Represent Procurement & Supply Chain in project gate reviews and provide performance reporting to management.
