Job summary

Qufora is a fast-growing medical device company seeking a Senior Program Manager to strengthen execution of our most important development initiatives. You will lead the Portfolio Group, manage intake and prioritisation, and create a clear, integrated view across major projects at our Allerød headquarters, just north of Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• A relevant BSc or MSc degree in engineering, business, life sciences or a comparable discipline.
• Typically 8+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, including portfolio governance, intake and prioritisation.
• Experience coordinating multiple related projects as a program.
• Strong track record delivering large, strategically important initiatives with senior stakeholder attention.
• Experience from medical devices, pharmaceuticals or other regulated product-development environments is strongly preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English; Danish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Qufora’s Portfolio Group and establish governance rhythm for portfolio intake, assessment, prioritisation and decisions.
• Own a transparent intake process, ensuring business need, strategic fit, value, urgency, risks, dependencies and capacity implications are understood before prioritisation.
• Develop prioritisation and sequencing proposals with senior management and maintain a visible, decision-ready view of the active portfolio and pipeline.
• Establish and maintain the integrated program view across related projects, including objectives, milestones, dependencies, risks and business outcomes.
• Align with project managers and facilitate program governance to ensure plans connect and decisions occur at the right level.
• Identify cross-project risks, conflicts and capacity constraints early and coordinate resolution.
• Protect overall program outcomes when individual project priorities conflict; allow detailed resource planning to sit with projects.
• Lead large, strategically important projects with full accountability for scope, budget, risks and delivery.
• Build cross-functional teams and ensure design control, regulatory, clinical, quality and commercial deliverables.
• Continuously improve portfolio, program and project execution with scalable standards.
