Job summary

Gubra is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to shape technology choices across the organisation. You will partner closely with the CTO and act as a bridge between business, science, and technology to translate needs into architecture options for SaaS, AI, data, and cloud platforms.

You will define architecture principles, assess build-vs-buy decisions, and ensure solutions are technically viable while enabling teams to move fast and responsibly. This is based in Hørsholm, Denmark.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience as an Enterprise Architect or Principal Architect.
• Experience across enterprise applications, data, cloud, integrations, security, and modern software platforms.
• Understanding of ERP and enterprise business systems, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with AI architectures and modern AI capabilities in business workflows; pharma/biotech/R&D exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advising on technology choices across enterprise applications, ERP, data, AI, cloud, security, and integrations.
• Evaluating COTS and SaaS solutions and supporting build-vs-buy decisions.
• Defining and evolving architecture principles, standards, and reusable patterns.
• Translating business and scientific needs into pragmatic architecture recommendations.
• Collaborating with Software, Data, ML, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure technical viability.
• Identifying opportunities for AI and modernisation across the organisation.
• Following developments within AI, cloud, data sovereignty, and emerging technologies.
