Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S seeks an Associate Vice President, R&D Process Orchestration to accelerate medicines development by redesigning workflows across the R&D value chain. Based in Søborg, Denmark, you will lead a new function and partner with senior leaders to simplify complexity and enable data-driven decisions.

You will drive enterprise-wide transformation with AI-enabled solutions, own key portfolio processes, and build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business or related field.
Senior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of enterprise-wide transformation and operational excellence.
Experience implementing digital solutions (AI, automation, analytics).
Strong program and portfolio management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Define the strategic direction for process orchestration across R&D.
Own and improve key portfolio management processes and the Global Project Framework.
Drive process excellence by redesigning workflows, simplifying handovers, and managing interdependencies.
Partner with senior leaders to drive enterprise-wide alignment and change to accelerate asset strategy and development.
Collaborate with AI and Digital teams to accelerate digital transformation across R&D.
Build a high-performing team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Represent Novo Nordisk externally in industry forums and benchmark best practices.
