Job summary

We are now seeking Store Sales Staff for our new store at Scandinavian Photo Illum.

We are now seeking Store Sales Staff for our new store team at Scandinavian Photo Illum in Copenhagen, opening in October 2026.

Open Positions & Contract Options (14 Openings)

We are looking for team members across four different contract levels:

Working Hours & Schedules: The store is open 10:00-20:00, 7 days a week. All positions operate on a rotating schedule that involves regular evening and weekend shifts.

About the Role

Working in Store Sales at Scandinavian Photo Illum, you will meet our customers in our brand new store as well as through digital channels.

You will assist customers with questions that arise before, during, and after a purchase. This includes product inquiries, orders, deliveries, payments, returns, and all other parts of the customer journey.

An essential part of the role is understanding what the customer actually needs. Through advisory guidance and product knowledge, you help the customer find the right product, accessories, service, or complete solution. You view sales opportunities as a natural part of great service and work to create value for both the customer and Scandinavian Photo.

You will become part of a fantastic and solution-oriented team where we collaborate, share knowledge, and always keep the customer in focus. We work systematically with targets, customer satisfaction, sales, and other relevant KPIs to continuously develop both our working methods and the customer experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Help and guide customers in-store, as well as via phone, email, and digital contact channels.
• Handle inquiries regarding products, orders, deliveries, payments, and returns.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right products, accessories, services, and solutions.
• Actively contribute to sales by identifying commercial opportunities during daily customer dialogues.
• Help customers before, during, and after a purchase, creating a seamless customer experience.
• Work actively to achieve high customer satisfaction and deliver a professional, personal approach.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of routines and workflows within the team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience in customer service, sales, retail, support, or another customer-facing role.
• A natural interest in helping people, understanding their needs, and finding the right solution.
• A commercial mindset and comfort with sales being a natural part of customer dialogue.
• Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows.
• Very good knowledge of Danish or Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you also have:

• Experience in sales or needs-based consulting.
• Experience working in customer service across multiple channels.
• Experience with CRM systems, ticketing/POS systems, or other digital customer service tools.
• Product knowledge in photography, video, computers, audio, or content creation.
• Several years of customer contact experience within retail or service.

• Positions Available: 14 openings total (4x 100%, 4x 75%, 3x 50%, 3x 33%)
• Operating Hours: Store open 10:00-20:00, 7 days a week (evening and weekend work required)
• Form of Employment: Permanent employment with a 3-month probationary period (or position according to employment contract)
• Start Date: September/October 2026 or according to agreement prior to store launch
