Job summary

Shine, part of Cegid, is building Europe’s leading financial copilot for small businesses. We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the kernel accounting engine and the country extension strategy, collaborating with engineers, tax experts and country teams across Europe.

You’ll inherit an established team and report to the Director of Product, shaping contracts, data models and API surfaces. Fluency in English is essential and prior accounting product experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience owning production accounting or statutory core engines.
• Ability to define kernel entry models and contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication within engineering and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the kernel's entry model and contracts and align consuming teams.
• Land the kernel and country extension split with engineering and migration paths.
• Generalise statutory foundations into market-agnostic abstractions for multiple countries.
• Prove the kernel can scale through legacy migrations with audit and integrity.
• Show how VAT rates and fiscal periods configure per market.
