Job summary

Ventula Consulting Ltd. in Copenhagen is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the end-to-end technical proposition for major deals and coordinate cross-functional teams across global pursuits.

You will shape cloud solutions balancing cost, feasibility and client value while guiding a pursuit team and presenting designs to clients and executives. The role requires travel within the region; office presence 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• A degree with a strong technical or scientific grounding.
• Experience designing propositions for large managed infrastructure or outsourced IT contracts.
• Hands-on pricing of multi-year operational services deals.
• Broad understanding of hosting, platforms, application support, workplace and communication tools.
• Deep familiarity with cloud in all its forms (on-premise, hyperscaler, hybrid) and architecture frameworks.
• Experience managing people and running a proposal design team.
• Strong risk awareness across commercial, operational and technical aspects.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to clients and executives.
• Independent, organized, collaborative across borders.

Responsibilities

Cloud Solutions Architect – Denmark (Copenhagen) - Cloud Solutions Provider

Ventula Consulting is working with a global technology services organisation to hire a Cloud Solutions Architect, based in Copenhagen.

If you enjoy turning a demanding customer brief into a winning, deliverable proposition, this role puts you right at the heart of the organisation's largest cloud and managed infrastructure pursuits.

You will be the person who shapes and owns the technical proposition on major deals, from the earliest conversations to the final submission. You will work hand in hand with commercial and operational colleagues to make sure every deal is compelling to the client, realistic to run and commercially sound. Many pursuits span several service lines, so you will often be the one pulling the pieces together into a single coherent answer.

What you will be doing

• Shaping propositions that fit the client's needs while keeping costs sharp and designs repeatable
• Setting the approach for the technical, operational and people aspects of each deal, and securing buy-in from pursuit and operations teams
• Guiding and developing a team of solution specialists, sometimes drawn from different parts of the business
• Keeping executives informed and giving them clear recommendations to act on
• Presenting to clients, running design sessions and supporting them through their scrutiny of the proposal

What we are looking for

• A degree with a strong technical or scientific grounding
• A solid background designing technical propositions for large managed infrastructure or outsourced IT contracts
• Hands-on experience assessing and pricing multi-year operational services deals
• Broad understanding of hosting, platforms, application support, workplace and communication tools, with mainframe exposure a real plus
• Deep familiarity with cloud in all its forms, whether on-premise, hyperscaler or a mix of both, alongside recognised architecture frameworks
• Previous experience managing people and running a proposal design team
• A sharp eye for commercial, operational and technical risk
• Confidence explaining intricate ideas simply to clients and senior audiences, even with little notice
• An independent, organised approach, openness to iterative ways of working, and experience collaborating across borders
• Flexibility to travel, both within the region and further afield

This role is based in Copenhagen, with 2-3 days per week in centrally located office.

The role offers a salary between DKK 70,000 - DKK 80,000 per month.
