SAS Cargo Group A/S is seeking a Solution Architect for the Offer & Order domain to shape back-end commercial architectures powering all sales channels. You will drive digital capabilities, AI-driven insights, and scalable architectures across SAS’s global airline retailing platform.

You will partner with business and technology leaders, balancing modern cloud-native solutions with legacy systems, and guiding the roadmap from concept to delivery across cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, software development or technical ownership within airline commercial ecosystems (e.g., PSS, Shopping, Revenue Management, Distribution/NDC).
• Solid experience designing, building and evolving complex architectures and integrations.
• Experience with API design, AI-enabled solutions and data platforms.
• Structured, analytical mindset with strategic thinking and results-driven attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse teams.
• Tech-savvy with interest in AI, automation, and data-driven practices.

As Solution Architect you will be responsible for the architecture of the back-end commercial Offer & Order solutions that power all our sales channels. This role is pivotal in SAS´s digital journey toward modern airline retailing, leveraging data and AI capabilities to create smarter commercial solutions and enhanced customer experiences.

Challenges you will work on:

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will oversee and be accountable for the architecture of digital back-end services within the Offer & Order domain balancing development initiatives, security, technology and partner strategy for all external and internal services in the domain, such as:

• Lead the solution architecture of strategic commercial transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled Dynamic Pricing optimization, and next-generation retailing capabilities, from concept through implementation
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, translating commercial strategy into scalable digital capabilities and solution architecture
• Lead the solution architecture roadmap and documentation, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction, including future Offer generation and the transition to native Order management (IATA ONE Order)
• Balance and integrate modern technologies with legacy systems to deliver scalable, resilient, and future-proof solutions
• Work closely with Digital Service Owners, internal teams as well as external partners and vendors to ensure alignment, integration and successful delivery of Offer & Order solution components.
• Stay ahead of aviation, retailing and technology trends including agentic commerce, bringing innovation and actionable insights into SAS´s architectural strategy

As Solution Architect Offer & Order in the Offer & Order Solutions team, SAS Digital &IT, you will join a diverse and high-performing team contributing with our different areas of expertise. We work closely with our colleagues within IT, Commercial, Revenue Management/Pricing, Distribution, and external technology partners. We value a collaborative and forward-thinking environment with a commitment to provide customer value.

To be successful we believe you have

• 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture, software development or technical ownership within airline commercial ecosystems e.g. PSS, Shopping, Revenue Management, Distribution/NDC
• Solid experience in designing, building and evolving complex architectures and integrations
• Experience with API design, AI-enabled solutions and data platforms
• A structured, analytical mindset with strategic thinking and a strong drive to achieve results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
• Tech-savvy with experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI technologies, automation, and data-driven capabilities to enhance digital products, services, and engineering practices
• Education within Computer Science, IT or Engineering

Additional information

• Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a probation period
• For this position it is possible to be based at one of the SAS offices in Copenhagen, Denmark or Solna, Sweden. You will be expected to work onsite, with the possibility to work from home, depending on agreement with your manager. Regular duty travel shall be expected for this position.
• To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit.
