Job summary

WaveTel ApS is seeking a Mid-Level Solar & Energy Storage Service Engineer (Danish speaking) to join onsite. You will work with Battery Energy Storage Systems, PV, microgrids and power distribution, providing design support, documentation and customer collaboration.

The role focuses on technical sizing, solution development, and hands-on guidance in a fast-growing energy tech environment with international teams.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background required.
• Hands-on experience with BESS or battery storage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power distribution.
• Experience with AutoCAD and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of technical solutions within BESS, solar energy and electrical infrastructure.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Use AutoCAD for system design and project documentation.
• Support technical sizing and selection of electrical components and equipment.
• Work with solutions involving batteries, transformers, UPS systems, generators and power distribution.
• Support technical proposals, quotations and customer presentations.
• Cooperate with sales teams, product teams, project teams and technical specialists.
• Participate in technical customer meetings and workshops.
• Support project implementation, installation and on-site technical guidance.

We are looking for a technically strong Mid-Level Product Technology Assistant / Solar & Energy Storage Service Engineer with an interest in energy storage, electrical systems and renewable energy.

You will join an international technology environment and work with solutions within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar energy, power distribution and microgrids.

The position combines technical support, solution design, documentation and collaboration with customers, sales teams and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of technical solutions within BESS, solar energy and electrical infrastructure
• Prepare and review electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Use AutoCAD for system design and project documentation
• Support technical sizing and selection of electrical components and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of relevant technical experience is preferred
• Good understanding of electrical systems and power distribution
• Experience or knowledge within BESS / battery storage systems
• Knowledge of transformers, UPS systems, batteries, generators and power distribution
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• BIM experience is an advantage but not required
• Interest in renewable energy, solar PV and microgrid solutions
• Ability to work in a structured way with technical documentation and details
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
