Job summary

BEUMER Group in Denmark is seeking a Software Test Manager to lead testing activities, shape our automation strategy, and bridge theory and practice across product teams and the Poland test arm. You will define testing strategy, establish test plans for System Test, mentor colleagues, and drive improvement of our testing processes while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

The role requires ISTQB Test Manager certification, a software engineering background, and fluency in Danish

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB Test Manager certification.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality management principles, applying a risk-based approach.

• Participating in the early requirements clarification phase for new system features and providing test architecture expertise.

Therefore, we are looking for a Software Test Manager who can bridge the gap between theory and practice. You will be a key player in ensuring that our processes are translated into concrete practices and implemented with a strong focus on delivering real value to both product teams and the System Test function for which we are responsible. In this role, you will act as a coach in our products' transformation journey while actively contributing to the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our System Test suite, with a particular focus on automation.

Your New Team

You will become part of a Software Test team that supports software product and project teams in testing practices and ensures that testing activities contribute to the quality of our software products and projects. Our team collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization.

How You Will Spend Your Time

As a Software Test Manager, you will primarily work with product development. For new system features, you will gradually take on a Test Architect role by participating in the early clarification and requirements phases.

For these features, you will also serve as the liaison to our highly skilled test team in Poland, which specializes in test automation.

Together with our other Test Manager, you will play a key role in planning and following up on the testing of our regular System Releases. You will also participate, to a limited extent, in manual exploratory testing and engage in discussions with development teams regarding identified defects.

More Specifically, Your Responsibilities Will Include

What We Expect From You

We expect you to have a background as an experienced Test Manager with strong personal impact and excellent communication skills. We also expect that you:

• Hold a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Have an ISTQB Test Manager certification.
• Possess solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality management principles, applying a risk-based approach.
• Have experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Thrive in a project-driven and technically complex environment.
• Take a structured, analytical, and proactive approach to your work.
• Are fluent in both Danish and English.
