Qualifications
- 5–8 years in software safety engineering for software-intensive systems.
- Experience leading safety initiatives in complex projects.
- Knowledge of IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882E, DO-178C is preferred.
- Experience in defense or aerospace is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety software assurance activities.
- Create Software Safety Plans, Verification & Validation Plans, and Safety Cases.
- Perform Software Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and FMEA.
- Ensure compliance with international standards like IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882E, DO-178C.
- Support independent safety assessments and audits.
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and hardware teams to embed safety.
