Job summary

3Shape is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Reconstruction Software Area. You will design and implement high-performance C++/C# components for 3D image reconstruction and processing, shaping the architecture and driving quality.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong programming skills in C# and/or C++ with a focus on maintainability and quality.
Experience owning and evolving software architecture (APIs, module boundaries).
Analytical mindset with attention to performance, scalability and maintainability.
Experience with distributed systems is a plus.
Excellent collaboration and communication within a team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ and/or C# components for 3D image reconstruction.
Refactor and modernize code to improve maintainability and performance.
Define and evolve subsystem architecture together with architects and senior engineers.
Raise engineering excellence: code quality, tests, telemetry/observability, and documentation.
