GEA Group in Denmark is seeking a Social Media Operations Assistant to join the Digital Channels team within Group Communications and Brand. This part-time student position supports governance and administration of GEA's social media ecosystem across markets and teams.

You will work with an international team, help with onboarding, reporting, and process improvements, and gain hands-on experience with AI-enabled tools and digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Currently studying communication, digital media or related field.
• Structured and detail-oriented with an interest in processes, organization, and operational excellence.
• Experience with social media management platforms or digital collaboration tools is an advantage.
• Confident in written and spoken English; Danish is not required.
• Curious about digital communication and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and govern the social media management platform: user access, permissions, and account setup.
• Onboard and train colleagues on social media tools and best practices.
• Manage global social media account inventory and keep information up to date.
• Support employee advocacy and social media enablement initiatives.
• Assist with social media reporting by collecting and analyzing performance data.
• Identify workflow improvements via automation and AI-supported tools.
• Monitor platform developments and updates impacting the business.
