Job summary

Afinitas is seeking a skilled machinist in Denmark to perform rough and finish turning, drilling, tapping, and related operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You will work from drawings, route sheets, and specifications to determine sequences, set tools, and optimize speeds and feeds for required finishes.

Job Description:

Plan and perform a normal range of rough and finish turning, drilling, tapping, boring, facing, recessing, thread cutting and similar machining operations on a variety of shafts, housings heads, and parts of various ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. Work from drawings, route sheets, specifications and instructions to determine operational sequence; set tools in cross slides or tail stock; select and set speeds and feeds according to the type of material and finish requirements; move selector lever or change gears for thread cutting.
