Metal Fabricator

As a Metal Fabricator in our Horsens-based metalworking company, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to blueprints and specifications. You will use a variety of tools and equipment to cut, shape, and join metal components, ensuring the highest levels of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets, plates, or tubes
• Use various tools (e.g. saws, shears, presses) to cut or shape metal components
• Weld or join metal parts using techniques such as soldering or bolting
• Smooth and polish surfaces using grinders or sanders
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
• Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment (e.g. saws, welders)
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations
• Good physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials
• Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training in metalworking or related field
• Knowledge of different welding techniques (e.g. MIG/TIG)
• Experience working with different types of metals (e.g. steel, aluminum)
• Familiarity with quality control principles

Salary: Starting at $1000 per month

Working Hours: This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday-Friday.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training/certification in metalworking is preferred.

Location: This position is based in Horsens, Denmark.
